    • WARRANTIES....WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

    Q: are warranties included in the price?
    A: yes they are.
    Q: how long is the warranty?
    A: a standard warranty is issued for 6 months but sometimes a special offer may be in force, see each car for specific details
    Q: Can it be extended, and how much does it cost?
    A: Yes warranties can be extended. Terms include 2 years (approximately £235) 3 years (approximately £290) and Lifetime (approximately £355).There are several further options which we can discuss. Cost may vary slightly according to vehicle, some turbo charged vehicles and four wheel drives will be more. These offers must be agreed before delivery because we participate in the cost, after delivery extensions must be purchased direct with the warranty company.
    Q: How good are they?
    A: Very good. Our warranty system is provided by Motorcare and is comprehensive, parts and labour. A long list of items is covered, you are invited to examine the policy.
    Q: What about servicing and any claim that might arise?
    A: You can service the vehicle at any VAT registered garage but keep the invoice, it must be serviced in accordance with the warranty conditions (which are only common sense anyway), and a breakdown claim may be dealt with by any VAT registered garage.
    Q: Lifetime Warranty- explain.
    A. Yes it really is. As long as you own the car, and service it to schedule of course, a massive list of parts, and the labour to fit them, will be covered under the warranty. Engines and gearboxes hardly ever go wrong but the likely candidates are alternators, starter motors, wiper motors and wheel bearings. Most cars fit into the £355 bracket and by any standards it is a bargain and peace of mind.
